Never noticed this in my my previous MY14 M5 but driving home tonight I was on a long sweeping entry slip road & my speed (with cruise control engaged) started decreasing. I was pushing on & it's a fairly tight sweeping bend but nothing TC related kicked in as wasn't anywhere near the limits of adhesion. When the road straightened out, the car picked up speed back to the CC setting.

Is this a new feature? Felt like the car decided i was going say 10mph too fast so scrubbed some speed off until the road straightened out.

Missing my USB track number from the iDrive display which is annoying me as i only ever listen to tunes on my 64gb USB stick. Defo displayed track number next to the USB symbol on my previous M5 but has vanished from the MY15 carfrown

Sounds like the car thought it was going too fast based on steering angle?

It certainly felt automated & nothing dramatic, just a gradual reduction of around 10-15mph & then when the road straightened up the speed was auto increased back up to the CC setting. Reminded me of how Radar cruise operates, but don't recall noticing this happening on my previous M5.

It looks like this is the dynamic cruise control feature. Not sure if you also have active cruise control. Either way this URL may explain it….didnt realise it existing so will see if it works in mine later

I'd not selected any upgraded Cruise Control on the new car so pretty sure it's not Dynamic/Radar as that has a display on the dash etc where you select how far you'd like the gap to be etc.

My Z4 would not accelerate fully when cruise was engaged leaving a roundabout, until the steering wheel was in the approx straight ahead position.
