M235i ordered, options advice please

I had a 640d on a contract hire lease that recently went back to bmw at the end of the term and almost out of the blue I have ordered an M235i.

I am looking for advice on the spec.

So far I have ordered
EB
black Dakota
Driver comfort pack
Visibility pack
Sun protection pack (do I need this?)
Prof media
Adaptive suspension
Sunroof (in two minds about this, bit more light in the cabin but lose a bit of headroom)
Folding mirrors
Electric seat
Heated seats

So really shall I keep the sun protection pack and sunroof? Also how bad is the sound system and if it is pants do I go for advanced or HK sound system?

Upgrade to M performance 19 " 405m wheels. Wish I had done that when I ordered the M135i. They finish off the car and tbh should have been on there as standard.

Go for HK if you can. The advanced system doesn't sound much different from the standard setup to me.

What system did you have in the 640d?

The 640 had the standard system that was pretty good.

I have emailed salesman to find out how it affects monthly payments as it should increase the GFV, will post back when I hear. Thanks for the advice

You can get them through your dealer and at a discounted price I am sure. Get that added to the finance package if your going that route.

Had a look at pictures and I'm not actually that keen on them to be honest

Std stereo is a bit naff. HK probably worth it. I'm not sure the sunroof is worthwhile, I find that I never use them.

Auto or manual?

I normally retro fit sun protection, but haven't on my M235i. even with red interior leather I find the light about right.

I've heard mention of the sun roof being a bit to small and far back to really appreciate.

I specced Adaptive headlights and they're brilliant.We worth £390

I'm interested in the 640d. I'd have thought it a hard act to follow?

Looks great with some of the M Performance bits. The 405m performance wheels were not my 1st choice initially but seeing them on a car in the flesh changed my mind.

I have standard sound system. Its great when turned off, Crap for music and speech.

Thanks for the advice, going to spec HK audio. Might cancel sunroof it is a bit small and a little far back as said above.

Yes very different to the 640 that was a great GT type car. Just fancied something small and manoeuvrable as the 6 was huge.

You wont be sorry, perfect for todays congested world, nice and chuckable. Just turn the startstop off and love it every day.

I have just upgraded the fronts in my m235i to hk. Big difference! I'd spec it next time
