Hi all
Just bought my first 335i and I feel the rear tyres have possibly gone off (hard), even if its stinking hot and with WOT off the mark it wont grip when turbo's cut in, also sometimes in 2nd it kicks out, the rears are (conti 295/25/20's) but I feel the tyres could hold better grip?

Its the first time ive had these Conti's and I wonder if the compound just isn't as good as it could be.

so my question, do I get different tyres, and if so what would you recommend that is proven to cope with equally good ware values.

Regards
PH.

And smaller wheels with higher sidewalls for better traction (and inherent acceleration too). Big wheels ruin cars in general.

295/25/20?!

Is this some sort of new 911?

As has been said, Super Sports take after their name.

Interestingly they are no more than the Conti's but a better compound, for lets say the more "flamboyant driver" hopefully.

Cheers chaps.

Find the DOT code on your existing rubber bands ( wink ) and you'll be able to tell if they're perished due to age.
