A long shot I know, but would anyone know the cost of this?
Two dealers I've spoken to haven't a clue...

I'm assuming as a few cars are now with their owners we should really know the cost?

Cheers

£300 - £400 I was told. Once upon a time (E46) they were free ! Good argument for the £1,000 5 year service inclusive plan .

If you fight hard enough you'll get it for free I'm sure.

I did on my F10 M5 as did many others.

Thanks

I'm trying to sort a lease deal out and weighing up whether to have maintenance or not.
I'd have thought getting the service for free in this instance is pretty much impossible.

One broker I spoke to thought it was £800-£900!

I paid circa £320 for my M5, can't be any more than that?

It's only an oil change isn't it?
No other fluids like gearbox (DCT)?

Well, I just got ours done at a supposed half price....at a touch over £200, it looks like being in the region of £4-500.

Not so easy getting it for free on the M3/4 as unlike the M5/6, I've found BMW aren't so desperate to sell a car at any cost!

I was quoted £500 for my M4, price should be identical unles they do something with your back doors smile
It will take me a while to get to the 1200 miles, price may have gone up by then, from a couple of days before launch and I'm still at about 130 miles laugh

Told circa £600 by staff at local BMW when I viewed mine but this was from the top of his head while discussing the 5 year service plan

I assume the service plan (£1k?) covers this service and all the others needed?

Again, on the E92 but assume the same, yes. And fluid top ups.

Blimey, I'd done that in two hours (although I do live 150 miles away from the supplying dealer). Ours needed its service within 10 days!

Isn't it a no brainer to get the 5 year service pack and get the run in service all the remaining services for 5 years?

The discounted price of the service pack covered the run in service for me so was a no brainer.

There's a website that lets you compare prices, I used it and had to drive an extra 25 miles but saved a few bob. I think total cost was about £200, rip-off Coopers wanted £400.
