I'm after some advice......

My car is currently on its winter wheels and tyres - the correct m184 with conti ts810s. I was having a problem with a whining noise which I though was rear bearings when on the summer wheels and tyres ( Michelin supper sports) I had it checked out by the local stealer and they couldn't find the problem - they said it was most probably tyre noise- sure enough changing to the winters and the noise has disappeared! Has anyone else had the same tyre noise problem on the michelins??

The summers have around 3-4 mm tread left - so will need replacing soon after they are put back on the car. Any recommendations??

I'm using PS2 as per factory spec but to be honest they are perfect for me, little hard but does what they said on the tin. Used them in most my previous road cards also.

Goodyear F1 asymmetric also very good tyres but not used on the M5

Depends on your driving style I suppose.

I'm running on PSS's and I'm very impressed although I have noticed a bit of whining noise but never associated it with my tyres, it could be though.

Like Ant said, I would also consider the GY Eagle F1's or Vredenstein. I don't know of many M5 owners using them but that doesn't mean they're not any good, just that people would rather go with the majority vote which is probably the PSS's.
