I currently insure my cars including the M5 with Admiral Multicar but I am looking at getting an E36 M3 vert for the summer and wondered if its old enough to qualify for a classic car policy as it will only be used sparingly. My full NCD is with Admiral. I am 45 with a couple of SP 30's.

Any advice would be gratefully received

Yes, you can insure them under a classic policy as they're >15 years old now.

Although mine was cheaper on a normal policy with Sky.

Admiral do classic car cover with agreed value and you build NCD.
If the particular vehicle isn't on the current list of approved classic cars then you can ask them to make a referral to thei underwriters to see if they can add it.
