Is the F12 M6 exhaust system the same as the F10 M5?

Hello,

I can't seem to get a straight answer out of BMW, but have the opportunity to purchase a BMW M Performance upgrade exhaust that has come off an M6.

Can anybody confirm if this would fit my F10 M5?

Most parts are different, but exactly how I can't tell you.

The only common parts are the various nuts and bolts, and the main exhaust pipe with primary silencer is common between the M6 and M6 Gran Coupe.

I couldnt get an E60 M5 Eisenmann system to fit my E63 M6 without serious cutting and modding so I left it.

So I suspect it'll be the same for your F12.

Different chassis, mounting points etc.

Same as the E60 and E61 M5's. Different rear beams meant different systems.
