does anyone know whether it is possible to switch off the exhaust 'sound' from the speakers?

I found the low rev/speed noise really quite irritating, very fake, and like electrical interference.

mid to high revs, sounds good.

Look forward in seeing some pics. Get some pics of it posted up. Never seen one in the flesh.

There seem to be two options...either power down the radio by removing a fuse:

Seems a bit excessive to me. Or disconnect the AMP unit in the boot:

I've not tried either on mine but may disconnect to see what the sound is like without the artificial support
I know the links are for the M5, but pretty sure the solution applies to the M6 too
