Am contemplating an M4 after a test drive of the M4 cab and the discussion in the wet thread.

Have seen one I like the look of but it has a manual gearbox, now I'm not worried about the driving etc, etc. but am slightly concerned about the resale value although I will be getting it on...finance with a GFV.

Being a much rarer car than the DCT option will there still be a market for these manual cars in three years time or will I have my pants pulled down come trade in time ?

where is the clutch pedal with reference to the center of the seat?

Going later to the dealer to find out, the Americans haven't moaned about it being offset but then ours are on the other side !

The S4 I currently drive is slightly offset though.

Don't understand your concern. Your GFV is your worst case scenario, if you can live with that value anything else is just upside...

Congratulations. Another newbie! I've spent the morning pottering around in mine. Makes me smile which is nice.
