I had one of these a few years ago, great all rounder & the wife loved it which is always important. If anyone knows of one that is or maybe coming up for sale please let me know.

I would consider any colour (2012/2013) however must have big spec & decent mileage.

There was one for sale in Ireland but not quite the right time (typical), searched the usual websites but nothing quite right. There is a good 2011 Space Grey on BMW website £ 39650.00 but I think their asking steep money for it considering there is also a 2013 for same money, mileage is higher though.

Appreciate anyones comments on values.

Thanks
P

I suppose the dealers get what they get in, just a case of checking their website every few days. Looked about 6 weeks ago & I think there where around 7 for sale then last week there was one, today 3.

It's showing they are selling which is good, there should be more used ones coming on regularly as there seems to be a few new demonstrators coming on the system. Weird thing when searching the new X5M on their website is that they come under the standard X5 section rather than the M section, not the way to sell an X5M in my opinion

Fuel economy was awful, my average was 16 but then it was only a weekend car so was not that bothered. Constantly at the petrol station even for weekend use.

The search continues !!!

Why do you suppose that?? If they believe you are keen they will find you a car. I went to my local a couple of years ago and they didn't have stock of what I wanted, took my details and the phone didn't stop for the next few weeks with them offering me cars. Dealers often sell cars before they are even advertised.

If the M5 and M6 are anything to go by surely won't be too long before big discounts and 0% finance deals appear on the latest generation, I considered one of the previous generation cars, looked fantastic in MCB with silver stone interior and panoramic sunroof, but am going to stick out another 12 m or so and see what deals can be had on the new version.

16mpg hurts, same as our old v10 M5 but then that was because of the small tank.
