M3 warning light

Does anyone know what the little warning light means next to the transmission selection indicator?

Could be any number of things - you need to go into the iDrive and read the check control messages.

Thank you! no problem reported, except range 22 miles, it couldn't just be low fuel? There's another indicator for that. I'll find out when I fill up tonight. Just a little worried because I was out at Goodwood with it recently to give her a good thrashing. It's running fine.

Usually low fuel.

Light comes on with 70 miles range left.

Check Idrive control messages. Hold the button down and scroll through the menu.

Once you go below 30 miles range it comes up as a check control warning, BMW recommend you don't run the S65 low on fuel.
