Look at the mileage between services eek

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-12-BMW-M5-MONTE-CARLO...

I also love the way it says 'there are no bad points to this car' then lists all the bad points laugh

Cheers,
Bryn.

Ouch, 44000 miles between the running in service & 1st oil service, that's a long time running with the same oil. Mine had it's 1st oil service at 17k miles as recommended by the CBS.

Makes me chuckle his quote saying it's the cheapest as surely given it's the oldest example with the highest mileage for sale then it should be the cheapest.

Is their a Panoramic roof option on the F10 M5? I thought they all had sunroofs & they're certainly not Panoramic.

That is a long time between services?! But maybe that is still in accordance with CBS if he was doing a gentle 200 miles daily ??

Saw my first silverstone m5 today since I ordered mine.... Sadly it was on the hard shoulder with its hazards on....

No way... I've been doing high mileage in mine (maybe not so gently) and its currently showing its first oil service will be due at around 17k. Running in was done at 1600 just a few weeks after I bought it!

44k means it's missed a service and consequently I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Can't have done it too much harm if it's done 130k without blowing up?

Well it's only done 129k so who knows if it'll get to 130k without blowing up wink

It's the average of over 25k per service which astounds me on such a high performance engine, but then I am a bit of dinosaur in terms of modern cars, oils and service intervals.

Cheers,
Bryn.

Pretty impressive mileage for a car that is only three and a half years old, must be well over £30k spent on super unleaded.

But what is it really worth? I don't think I'd get that price for my car which has 49k on the clock and higher spec.

I'd be interested to drive it though with the engine loosened up like that. It must fly.

Indeed, shows the engine is pretty strong as that isn't a great service record.

Nice and shiny steering wheel... Can't imagine that one being worth more than 24K?

Plenty I would have thought, when I was looking for mine I came across a fair few. Just checked Autotrader and there's one on there with 136k.

If the dates are right in the advert thats almost 44000 miles between the 1st and 2nd service in exactly 2 months.....about 730 miles a day. No wonder he didnt have time to fit one in between them!

A normal mileage one is £34-37k.

Bet that's worth £24k tops.

Nice to see the mechanics have coped and it's still all working, think the price is a little steep as others have said bearing in mind for a few K more you can get one with less than 60k.

I'd also be interested in how it drives as must be nice and loose now so free revving etc.
