E46 - Seat Belts

Hi has anyone ever changed their loop seat belt to a 3 point one in an M3, I'm looking to have 3 proper belts in the back.

If you search my posts I did it on my E46 328i saloon. It's probably doable in the same way on a Coupe. For the saloon either use a BMW retrofit kit or source second parts. I bought new bolts and a used seat belt. The bolt holes were already there, just had to cut the parcel shelf (which is marked on the back where to cut).

Don't forget you also need the plastic trim to fit the parcel shelf. I have checked and the procedure is the same on a Coupe.
