I had a test drive of one of these the other day, loved it.

I notice on the options list there was the Adaptive M Sport suspension - is this considered worth while?

Also, are they any other "must have" extras?

I specced it, not sure I'd do it again - it comes into its own when pressing on A/B roads and you switch into Sport Mode.

Other extras are all about personal choice, I specced prof nav and like it a lot, but then I use it a lot.

The dealer said that nav was now included as standard, although when looking on the configurator it does let me remove it.

How's the Real Time Traffic Information?

I have the adaptive in mine and I can't say whether or not it's worth it as I've never driven one without. What I will say is that the car seems to deal with the changes in road surfaces very well.

Must have options for me, not including the above, would be the ZF8 auto box, Pro Nav, heated seats and some form of stereo upgrade, be it the Loudspeaker upgrade or if budget permits, the Harmon Kardon system.

Anything else is a bonus IMHO.

The Business Nav is now standard and you absolutely do not want this, the Pro Nav makes the dash much more modern in my opinion and the big display is really helpful.

If it comes down to adaptive suspension or Pro Nav, which I know it wouldn't as they are different values, I'd go with the Pro Nav.

I was originally going to go for manual, however after driving their auto I'm now converted.

They specced heated seats, rev camera for me too, although seem to have missed off the Harmon Kardon system on the quote.

Are parking sensors included, as they said they were but they are listed as a separate item on the quote?

Picked ours up just over a week ago.

The m135i is fairly well specced now. Business Nav is standard and includes Black Panel and Connected drive. I've had pro-nav before and whilst better, the standard is more than good enough for most people. LED lights now standard too.

Only options we have are auto, comfort pack (rear sensors and cruise), heated seats and sun protection glass. I don't think you need much else, unless you are into your music and go for one of the audio options. The standard stereo does the job for listening to the radio but is no hifi system. You can always listen to the engine note instead though.

Great cars especially with the huge discounts available!

I'll probably go for Kardon system, comfort access, tinted windows ("sun protection glass"?) and possibly park assist (for the wife, honest, lol, although I guess she'll find it more complicated to work than parking normally).

Did you get much off the book price?

They've offered me the deposit contribution for PCP and also given me a great price on my trade-in, just wondered if there's more to be had?

I was about to go into the M135i best discount & lease to ask about options as i'm thinking of putting an order in around September and was wondering what options i should go for. I think from what i've read i'll probably go for comfort & a Harmon upgrade with the auto of course. Coming from a Civic to that i don't think i need the heated seats but if they put it in for free i won't complain!

@tapeworkUK - Can you post what deal you got? Are you going PCP or buying outright or lease? I'm interested to see what they're offering on them at the minute

Got mine last week so here's another excuse for a pic. You get the nav included but I never use it so pro nav would be a waste of time for me. I opted for:

8 speed auto
Heated seats. I've not had a car without in the last 10 years and the one thing I use most days.
Comfort pack. Cruise control, rear parking sensors, etc.

I wanted the HK but I'd already gone over budget. The standard system is better than my old E90 (which was awful) but it's not exactly punchy. Annoyingly, 2 days after picking it up I got told of an upcoming promotion with car allowance included (although I don't have any salary or allowance details yet) so I wish I'd ticked the HK now. I also ordered folding mirrors but the salesman ticked the service pack by mistake so it doesn't have that but I get the serviving thrown in. He assures me I'm not paying for it and told me to keep quiet.

Edited to add...

4 year PCP 8,000 miles. £3750 dealer contribution, £2750 discount and I put £3600 down. £333 per month for my spec. It was a few pounds a month less for the manual but a lower GFV.

PCP with £3750 deposit contribution, 10K miles, £585 / month if I don't put any other deposit in, £363 if I put my car in (valued at 9k), £16,800 GFV.

I didn't expect the monthlies to be so much to be honest! Especially if your putting an 9K deposit towards it. I think leasing one is around £350ish on 8k miles a month including the deposit. I also didn't expect the end figure to be so low either

I've recently leased an Auto M135i 5 door, arrives at the end of April. As such the spec is totally basic - missing out on Harmon Kardon seems to be the most annoying thing from the extensive amount I've read, but it added a silly amount to the monthlies. Basic Nav now being standard is a nice bonus.

For anyone interested in the deal I got: 6 + 23, 8k PA - £1740ish down, £289ish pcm including V.A.T.

I've had mine for 3 years and over 40k miles now. I kept it basic adding the vis pack and auto box.

If i did it all again i'd keep those two options but would definitely want cruise control, reverse sensors (part of a pack i think?) and I'd upgrade the stereo. Maybe not full HK but something better than the basic as it's c**p!. I also wish I'd have realised how basic the bluetooth was as having to use the BMW Y cable for music is a pain.

What's up with the bluetooth? My iPhone connects straight away and I have access to the phone contacts and music/play lists without a cable.

Thats seems hugely expensive!! I specced one up as follows recently:

M135i 3dr:
Sport automatic transmission
Estoril Blue
Oyster with Dark Oyster highlight / Black Dakota leather
Fineline Stream Wood interior trim with Oxide Silver finisher
Media package - Professional
Driver comfort package (front/rear pdc)
Harman Kardon - Hi-Fi
Ext. mirrors - folding, auto dimming
Seat heating, front
Through-loading system
Adaptive M Sport suspension
£2000 deposit, 48 months, 10k miles per year, £389 a month!

Go here: http://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=80&am...

Get circa -22% off list. Its currently end of quarter, so you might get more if your salesman is desperate to hit their target.

That's about £7,600 - is that right? I can't see them knocking that much off, unless you mean the discount is part of the deposit contribution. If so I need to get them down about £3,850
