Hi

I am looking at an M4 coupe or cab with the comp pack to replace my C63

Any thoughts on the improvements ( if any ) ?

And I can't decide on Yellow, Orange or grey ?

Thoughts please.

The press seems pretty light on the comp pack. I'd like to hear people's views too

I'm thinking about one of these too.

I've been offered a 3 yr PCP, £5K in on a new M4 CP, with £8K options.

Is this a decent deal?!!

I couldn't bring myself to liking the wheels and seats so ordered standard car and optioned the bits I like. think the comp pack works better on the m3 through my eyes.

I wasn't sure about the wheel to start with but having seen them in the flesh I think they look really good. Also not being a huge fan of black wheels meant it was less of an issue for me.

Doesn't seem too bad on a car that lists c£68k. Around 18% of list based on my assumption of the list price and a final payment of around £30k.

I make it only 11% using the same assumptions....don't have the finance details in front of me!

To get those figures based on my assumptions, the purchase price would be £56k. Accordingly, £68k to 56K is roughly 18% off.

Dont know why you are being so cagey. I have made clear my assumptions,on which I am calculating the discount. You haven't suggested these are incorrect, so how else are any of us supposed to work out if it is a good deal or not.

I also wouldnt trust the saleman to correctly work out the percentage discount. So stop being a dick and tell us the full details of the deal and then we can actuall advise if it is a good deal or not. This is what you wanted to know isnt it.

I'm not being cagey, I have nothing to hide at all.
I've already stated the figures.....except the MGFV....£30578....as estimated.
I'm not relying on salesmen, who would do that?
You come over as a bit of a know-all who has trouble with being told you're wrong.
I'm not the dick here.....you need to be careful about how you talk to people.

Yeah who would do that? "It's nowhere near 18%.....they have confirmed this too!"

You asked for help, without divulging all the info (list price, actual price, GFV) and then you get all shirty, when advice, made on accurate assumptions (at least with the GFV) is given.

PS I'm so sorry I spoke to you that way, please don't hurt me.xxx

Such anger and hostility, one can only speculate as to why.

Moving on....I think the deal on offer is a good one and may well go for it.

The dealership has gone out of their way to help too.

More to follow....
