M2 V5 anomaly

I've just had a close look at the V5 document for our M2 and noticed an anomaly in section 4 'Vehicle Details':

D.2 Type M3

Variant 1H92

D.3 Model M2

I'm not sure where the DVLA gets this information from? I thought it may have been supplied by the manufacturer.

I'm wondering whether this potential error is restricted to our V5 or whether all M2s have this information on the V5.

It just strikes me as a little odd?

Same happened to me! Have taken a copy of the v5 to the dealer, and they say they are going to look into it, but havent heard back from them yet!

Was just wondering if it was a one-off error. But obviously not...
