high mileage e39's / values
Discussion
Easiest way is to call up a specialist insurance company and try and get an agreed value policy on the car. They still have guidelines on how much a car is worth.
First step would be to define high miles.
Lets say its on 140k and facelift, then probably £9,000 - £9,500 is my guess if it is not covered in rust etc.
Any car with sub 60k will be one of the ''appreciating'' cars which isn't being used anymore.
I guess just go and fill it up again and keep driving
