Currently considering an F10 M5. Am I correct in thinking that if for example I purchase privately, if the car either has an existed warranty running (the Mondial one) or is under an AUC warranty, I can continue to extend this on a yearly / monthly basis ? Are there any points to watch out for re mileage / age limits ? Assuming this is the case, this seems to me, to be a sensible option....

Congrats on getting an F10 M5.

The AUC warrenty is with the car so if theres any balance left then it's still covered.
The Mondial warrenty can be transferred to a new owner.
There is usually a significant price increase at 60000miles though. The best advice is to be on the monthly plan BEFORE 60k as the payments just roll on, you don't get the increase in price.

Autocorrupt running overtime above...

The Mondial warranty can only be transferred if it's the annual version; if it's the monthly version the new owner has to contact Mondial and start afresh.

Blimey, I should have proof read that before hitting submit.
Sorted it now. Cheers

Must have changed, when in bought my csl in 2010 the previous owner was on the fully comp monthly warranty, at sub 60k prices - the car was on 74k when i bought it.
The seller called mondial while I was there, told them he was sellling & I was buying, I gave them my bank details & the monthly payments continued from my bank, which they sill do now, 7 years later.
The car is now on 95k miles.
