BMW M4 vs M6 vs F type V8

Anyone owned any of the above cars? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Started saving for a new car and considering them.

I always think of the F-Type as an older gents car. Would be a M4 or M6 for me. Hard choice as M6 is close to end of life. It's much more refined, far better interior, great raw power, sublime on straights. M4 is quick and nimble but feels cheap inside compared to M6. As a daily I'd probably go for a M4 unless I was doing a lot of motorway driving. Then the M6 would be a no-brainer for me. Much nicer place to be all-round. Lot of car for the money at the moment if you're buying used.

Indeed, the M6 would be less common than the M4 and hopefully prices will go down further with the next model coming out.

Very easy to remap as well.

Depends what you look for, the engine alone in the F Type could win you over, for character it's a league above the other two.

The M6 is in free fall. Prices are really hurting sellers.

Reading around it seems it's really hard to shift m6 and dealers won't touch them.

I saw a m4 on the street today. Looks fab.

The jag is also brill.
