Hi Ray

Thanks. Yes had plenty of nice cars over the years
Ranging from e30 325i sport/e46 M3 back a few years Cosworths Xrs etc etc.
Been sensible for the Past 3/4 years but craved a toy.
Found this in a local BMW dealer and got a good deal from an old school friend (Sales Manager) so had to have it.
Currently run a F10 535d msport and E70 X5 m sport.

Love the BMW marque.

Ah I see, you've been quite lucky over the years then!

How does this compare to the older BMW's you've owned? For example, I recently sold an old faithful Mk. 1 Skoda Octavia VRS, and bought a nearly new Mk. 3 VRS.

There was an obvious DNA lineage in the facelift Mk. 1.5 as they called it, and the Mk. 2 - however this Mk. 3 is a completely different car in every way, bears no resemblance at all to the older models. Obviously it's engineered on the new VAG MQB platform, but it left me a bit cold to start with - a completely different car from what I was expecting it to be really. I had trouble bonding with it and even hankered after having my old Mk. 1 back for a while!

Yes I have been fortunate to own many cars.
Early days however very responsive capable car I would say.
Roll on next summer.

Judging by your username you obviously had a 3dr Cossie at some point.

After 4 Cossies I changed to an M3 about 16 years ago and never looked back

Enjoy your M3

Looks lovely that!

There are a few good groups on Facebook if you're on there. 'BMW M3 e9X V8 owners club' being a particularly good one.
