I purchased a M4 CP 2 weeks ago, which was registered in June. The car was apparently one of the showroom demo cars, so had 7 miles on the clock, but had a huge discount on the price. There were a few on auto trader at the time, but the one I bought had a lot of options on it, in fact ticked all the boxes and more for me!.

One question which I haven't really had a straight answer for was, the car has the new style rear lights, but the old style fronts.. Is this because the car doesn't have adaptive lights, or something else?..
Does anyone know??

Cheers

The now standard LED headlights are the same as the previously optional LEDs, so yes they’re the same as the pre-LCI unless you have adaptives.

Don't know what you mean from old style fronts? If it's got the new rear lights it's an LCI model so it will either have option 5A2 (LED headlights), or 552 (Icon Adaptive Headlights). Spec check the car - you should be able to online via chassis or call BMW customer services and get them to check which.

Yes, indeed, as you mention, I went onto the config tool on the BMW website and spec'd up a new car, and realised that the new style "iconic" lights were indeed adaptive, and mine has been fitted with the standard LED's.

All sorted now, thanks for your replies
