I have had a quote for a set of OEM CSL wheels from a very well regarded BMW independent to fit to my 2005 M3.

I am happy with the price (£1,600 + VAT seems about right) but a couple of questions please:

1. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternative suppliers please? I am based in South London so thought I should check.
2. They are suggesting fitting Michelin Pilot Super Sports tyres (235/35/ZR19 front and 265/30/ZR19 rears). Pretty sure that is the CSL tyre but just thought there is much more knowledge on this forum than me about what is best to fit!

thanks in advance

I bought some for mine back in 2007 they were £1200 including vat without tyres, Thorney Motorsport was the company I think they got around the supply rules by quoting the chassis of their own csl, there made by BBS have you thought about them? The ch range they do look very smart.
Edited
That is the correct tyre size for the csl setup

You should ask to have the Michelin PS4S that replaces the Super Sport ones

Loads of people hate CSL’s but I love mine. The amount of reps out there is crazy.

You can buy them from Germany for €1600 plus shipping, perhaps €1700 all-in. Equates to about £1500 delivered to your door.

I have a set of genuine CSL wheels with mpss, brand new on front and about 5mm on the rears from memory. When I bought my CSL it came with a spare set, one with cups and the other mpss. I’ve had them refurbished and they haven’t been back on the car since. Could be persuaded to part with them, if interested drop me a pm. Regards.

1. It seems you can get them from Germany going from above
2. MPSS are fine but MPS4S would be a better choice. Those tyre sizes are correct.
