What is the general consensus on the F80 M3 CS. I put my name on the list for one and have just been advised that I have been given allocation. I haven't decided on colour yet but favouring Lime Rock Grey.

What is the general opinion on these, are they an over priced and unwanted M car or sought after car and possibly the last of the RWD M3's?

I have a 2017 M3CP and wouldn't pay the difference, personally. I wouldn't drive on the limit enough on the road to feel the difference and not often enough on track to benefit from it.

It's also an outgoing 3 Series, so not enough of a excitement factor of annew model to be tempting.

I imagine come autumn there'll be some very special deals available on them.

M4CS are currently sat unsold in the dealers, I wouldn't really listen to them saying you've been given an allocation on an M3CS as they are not over subscribed.

It's a lovely car but not a 90k car if money is no object then fill your boots but don't expect it to hold its money.

do you mean 'in 20 years time will it be the new CSL/E30 etc and worth a lot of money' or do you mean 'will I lose a sh*t load of money if I buy one at £90k'?

With the new G8X coming in 2 yrs plus pre-reg Comp Pack M3s now around £50k I's say you're going to lose a massive amount of money.
