Thinking about this car or something similar.

+ Amazing, rare colour (ymmv)
+ Has the adaptive seats that are called out as essential
+ LCI

- No competition pack

I haven't seen any CP cars for less than £38K, and I would consider £35K to be the top of my budget.

I need a dark interior as I have a young child (i.e. not Silverstone which seems to have been a popular choice).

My ideal spec would be CP, Surround view, B&O, but for that I think I will be waiting forever.

Thoughts?

Super low mileage, facelift, great colour combo, and with BMW AUC: get it bought!

See if you could push for 2 years warranty

Would agree with Rassi, the price is good but purchase with a 2 year warranty. Specification wise it ticks all the boxes, the only option I like on my M5 is the 360 sourround view as it is a big car. However it has a reversing camera so thats not a deal breaker.

Agree with the dark interior, I ruled out silverstone after seeing a few examples that had only covered 4k - 12K and decided that black would stand the test of time better. I waited a year to get the right car, sometimes you just have to take the plunge. The B & O is nice, but the HK that I have is also very good.

Mine has the surround view, which was an option I was keen on, but in fairness I haven't used it, and only rarely do I even remember that I have the option, and only then for judging kerbs.

The Harman Kardon is very good, the B&O most likely better and the raising central tweeter a very cool feature. Only thing I really would have wanted but didn't get is the full leather and alcantara headliner but at least in Belgium a very rare option.

The colour is amazing and I'm sure it was a really expense option from new like £10k?

Though to anyone buying used paint makes zero difference unless it’s Delores style Back to the future.

I would disagree. Used buyers tend to be quite paint sensitive. There are some colours which are just difficult to shift in the used market

And I would suggest that competition package is probably the most important option to look for....

More desirable but how much of a £10k option premium would that drive over say the blue or the grey or black?

Personally, the colour makes it for me. I put an offer in on the car yesterday.

Thanks for the comments guys. Gotta try and find a decent set of winters now.

Congratulations!

I bought my set of OEM 19" winter wheels from these guys - I paid 1700 euro for a set with new tyres, these are used but still with good thread (6 mm and 7.5 mm): https://www.ebay.de/itm/BMW-19-Zoll-Alufelgen-M408...
