E30 M3 Pre Purchase Inspection
Discussion
Looking for some advice on who would be recommended to perform a pre purchase inspection on an M3.
It is being sold at a reputable garage but would like a second opinion on the car.
Dream car for me and stupidly didn't progress purchase of Evo II 7 years ago due to money being spent on house (kicking myself now)
So time has come in life to either go for it now or most likely never..............................

I used Barney at Classic Heroes when I bought my Evo II 5 years ago, he wasn't cheap but I was happy with the service I got.
He met me at the dealer selling the vehicle and spent 4+ hours going over the car itself, the paperwork, history and road testing it and taking me through every stage. He followed this up with a written report of what was urgently wrong with the car (nothing luckily for me), what would need doing in the near future and what was needed to make it factory original. He also checked what options it left the factory with and that they were all still present along with all the Evo II specific bits.

Perfect, thanks for that. He met me at the dealer selling the vehicle and spent 4+ hours going over the car itself, the paperwork, history and road testing it and taking me through every stage. As a serial E30 and E30 M3 owner plus someone who restores and repairs E30's (and other BMW's) for a living I can carry out a pre purchase inspection. I have a lot of experience in carrying out pre purchase inspections whilst previously working for one of the countries most well known BMW specialists before setting up www.bmperformance.co.uk with another BMW trained tech.
