Old owner of K88 RPB? Golf R32 M4?

Bit of desperation here but I’ve put a deposit down for an old Golf R32 that had that plate.
Evans Halshaw Leeds are selling it, it came from Stratstone BMW Hull.
It’s now on a M4 CP from March time, so I’m figuring the owner is the same person and swapped the private plate over and traded the R32 for the M4.
Only issue is the service book isn’t turning up.
Hull BMW seem to be being unhelpful, Evans Halshaw aren’t getting anywhere.
The irony is this is the 2nd car I’ve had a deposit on from Hull BMW in the last 6 months and the second time the sale has fallen through.
I’m just curious if the owner is on here and is happy to help me.
Normally I’d forget it and move on, but I’ve got my Z4 up for sale and ready to sell, and I just don’t have the time to start looking again etc.

Evans could find owner via v5, but for now they’re pestering BMW Hull.
As Evans and Stratstone are both under Pendragon I should hope they can work together to find it, if it exists (this isn’t entirely clear but the BCA form said it had a book and 8 services. But that could have just been what the owner said)
While I’m just a potential buyer I’m just trying to stay out of it for now wrt chasing these dealers.
If the previous owner turns up and says it’s a good one, and did have a book, I’m happy enough.
I plan to keep 5yrs+ so would just start a new book.
Sadly Evans seem to think it was valued without the book, despite them looking for it, so no chance on a price reduction.
So if it doesn’t turn up and I can’t get a positive comment from the previous owner I’ll be skipping this one.

My M3 (also a p/ex for a M4) was briefly considered for BCA , until a senior manager at the BMW dealership realized it was too good and b
ked the sales team. Briefly one of the keys but it turned up before I completed sale, so I hope for the same luck for you with the service book. Sorry Smuler, I’d seen your offer but forgot to say that I’d be grateful if you’d pass on the message.
I’ve posted at a few places, and have been digging through cutters ‘new member’ threads to see if I could spot the owner but haven’t had much time this evening.
I am a member there but didn’t want to spam too many boards that I’m a newbie on with this request as it seemed a little rude.
