F10 M5 to F80 M3

Hi,

I've currently got an F10 M5 which is approaching 3 years old so I'm starting to get the new car itch

Has anyone made the transition from M5 to M3 and either been happy or unhappy?

I'm test driving a car tomorrow so keen to canvas opinions.

I've also noticed some pre-reg examples with limited miles (12 in some cases) which have significant discounts (£20k) which might also float my boat if BMW will offer decent finance rates. You can get 0% on new cars but guess this isn't available of pre-registered examples?

I've just got a pre reg M4 with all the bits, ten miles on the clock. The finance was advertised @ 9.9%. I explained that I'd seen similar on the internet at 5.9%. They agreed that the one I was interested in could be done at that rate. 2 Days later and its on the driveway.

I did this exact move a couple of years ago. Much prefered the M3, much more of a drivers car and fun.

Recently bought an M4 with 23 miles on it. Got 3.9%. 22k off list.

Car had to be sold within 90 days of registration .
