Can anyone help my m3 in m mode ,in paddles is changing up from 1st on its own but in normal paddle it does not do it is there a reason for this

In D it will change up on itself, with paddles to override temporarily. In S it should be fully manual, and therefore not changing up.

You might have the settings in the i-drive for M mode set to Auto gearchange? Have a look and check.

in normal paddle shift it only changes by the paddles in sport 1st gear only ,changes up on its own all m settings are correct seems a bit weird

I had this recently when one of the wheel speed sensors had gone.

It just changed up in 1st about 3k rpm automatically in manual mode.

I'd get a friendly mechanic to check the codes for you.
