F10 M5 rear tyre width
Discussion
Hi everyone, I've posted this on M5POST but I'm not expecting many results as the forum can be a little slow sometimes.
Basically,
I'm getting closer to needing new tyres and still trying to find the best option. I really want to go for 305s on standard 20" m5 wheels. I understand that the recommended width is 10.5" but I also understand that the 305s can be used on 10" wheels.
I plan on using Michelins as they have been praised on the forums.
I'm looking at Michelin Pilot Sport 4S PS4S - 305/30 R20 (103Y) XL TL
Has anybody used these tyres without problems?
Thanks

Are you going for the wider tyre for traction or aesthetics? No personal experience but 295 to 305 should be possible on that width of wheel but you will throw out the speedometer.
Handling should be unaffected, but clearance with the wheel arches could be a problem if yours is lowered.
