Listing an SMG as "manual" when advertising for sale

I know the SMG is technically not an automatic transmission, but if somebody is searching online for an M3 (on PH or elsewhere) and they select the "manual" filter, they do so because they are looking for a car with three pedals, and specifically not an SMG.

Am I wrong?

Problem is, it's a Sequential Manual Gearbox. But yes, it's a pain when you think you've found a car you want and it transpires not to be.

It's what PH and what the car filters pick out by default too! Most people aren't that anal about the descriptions!

Small wonder people go to WBAC. No writing, no criticism, no hassle. Simples.

Before I owned mine it used to bother me. Now? ZFG.
