M4 orders...Factory delay (dealer called today!)

I’ve had an M4 on order for about 8 weeks or so.

Was due W3 this month. Today the dealer has been told to tell M4 customers all M4s are on hold (mine was at stage 12 eg not changeable for spec) but now showing as back at 11 and earliest likely delivery is end of October. Dealer been ace, offered me a car for free until it arrives but nevertheless it’s ruined a car trip I had planned in it early October...

Anyone else in same boat or able to shed any light?

Probably wltp related will be interesting to see what they are like after the fiddling they are having to do.
