BMW Getrag Manual v DCT

Hi Guys, hoping someone can help or point me to somewhere that can.

Can you tell me if there is a physical size difference between the 6 speed Getrag manual box v the 7 speed DCT box ?

Also assume the bell housing is similar.

There must be numerous variants / casing sizes across the range.

Hi, sorry for delay, not sure that it makes much difference but its mated to the 4.4 N62 V8

DCT is shorter in length than 6 speed Getrag.

Thanks, how about "roundness" for want of a better word ? i.e bellhousing, i can't see any reason why it would be bigger.

Depends on whether you are using one from an F10 M5 or E9x M3.
