CG Precision Exhaust Valve Controller advice needed
Discussion
Coming out of a 435i with a MPE my M4 CP sounds a bit gutless and down right weird when cold I've heard the term "farty" being used which is quite descriptive IMHO. Granted I've only had the car a few weeks and maybe I'll get used to it and either the exhaust will bed in, grow on me or I'll just forget what the old car sounded like. As I can't run to an MPE on the M4 I was looking at the CG Precision Exhaust Valve Controller as a way of being able to manipulate the valves at will.
Does anyone have any experiences of this , any good , where can I source in the UK as seems to be states based, how difficult is the fitting i.e. is it a DIY job also is there any risk of invalidating the warranty ? Any advice gratefully received.

Just got my CP a couple of weeks ago, trading in a JCW with the Pro exhaust, so know what you mean. I looked at the CG option, along with all the other ones before deciding on BMS Can Valve, as runs through ODB port vs external control of the valves.
Sounds great since, really prefer the sound. If money was no object, I’d go for the version evolve sells, where you use the cruise control speed adjustment rocker to open / close the valve, as just a little more cool than pressing the indicator button.

Plug in & drive. Top button on indicator held for 2 seconds cycles between open, closed and OEM valve controls. One from evolve requires taking trim and wiring clips apart, but does leave OBD port free, whereas mine does not.
