Servicing specialist - Midlands
Discussion
Hi,
I know this has been asked in the past, but a search of old Pistonheads threads gives me info that's just that - old....
I have a Z3M coupe that needs a service and a few bits doing to it.
Can somebody recommend a UK Midlands garage that specialises in M cars, fits genuine BMW parts and has a reputation suitable for a stamp in the service book for this car.
(Car has previously been maintained at Munich Legends but they are too far away).
Many thanks,
Tim

Autobahn in Halesowen definitely know their stuff, however communication can be quite slow and prices seem to have increased a fair bit recently. I got quoted £450 for an Inspection 1 for my Z4MC which isn't too far off main dealer prices. Rob owns a Z3MC himself if I recall correctly.
I've used NCB Autokraft in Earlswood too; I've only had them replace a lambda sensor but Noel seems to know what he's talking about.
I think either are fine so I'd go for whichever one is closer.

I'm in the midlands (staffs) but swear by Darren Wood BMW in Stockport. My new M2C will going there from run-in service onwards.
It's only an hour up the M6, which is less time then most places south of us in the west midlands with all the traffic.
There's a Subway and MacDs / Morrisons caf next door for your entertainment while you wait.
No Danish Pastries or Dolly Birds or wifi, but that's why they're cheaper....
