For an AUC it seems about right price wise, there are cheaper cars (maybe with issues, CAT D/S etc - and maybe not as nice with less comprehensive warranty) suppose it depends what has drawn you to this specific car?

There is another 2015, white, DCT, 31K miles, at £30980 BMW wilmslow worth a look?

Come down to the condition, and personal preference really over specs, colour, gearbox etc.

I'd go look at and drive some, over 300 cars on auto trader in coupe form, under 50K miles so lots of choice if you dont mind a drive out.

I also agree, it's about the norm for dealer pricing. Maybe newer than some at the same price.
Seems a lot of these cars are built way before they are registered, so possibly a 16 plate for example may be older than a 65 plate.
Pluses with a dealer is they provide warranty and that should stand if it's later found out car's been tuned, harder to argue if you buy outside of dealer network and then add warranty.
HUD, HK and carbon are popular choices.
Wasn't there are grey with orange interior with that spec at Park Lane similar price.if you don't fancy silverstone??
A mate is looking and pretty much all sub £29-30k ones (i.e. non main dealer) seem to have issues.
So this could be a good one, but as advised above, drive, drill down on providence and condition and check it's been serviced correctly even if from main dealer.

Yeah, the Park Lane one indeed is no longer on AUC. If, when looking for my friend, anything with your spec that comes up I'll post it here.

I’ve recently purchased a used M4 from a main dealer after many months of searching. I spoke to maybe 5/6 main dealers about cars I would have purchased on the spot (at the right price) and the experience was very odd with many!
I even asked a couple whether they actually wanted to sell the car after they were arrogant, unhelpful and not willing to budge on price at all - no more than a tank of fuel in some cases and a speech on how they dont need to discount their cars!

Having watched the market for months I’d say cars have started to drop over this past month and it’s a good time to buy. A couple dealers pricing cars fairly aggressively has made other dealers have to compete.
Push hard as dealers are having to rely on used sales at the moment with slow new car sales and brexit uncertainty - plus there are not many people out there wanting to spend £30k on used cars at the moment!!

Dealer variation. My car was originally advertised £3000 more than I paid - so yes, there can be a lot of variation, with some dealers trying their luck! I use WBAC to get a base value of the car and compare value between different cars.

As for the car, I’d say make sure you get HUD and strongly consider DCT. I looked at cars without HUD which were otherwise perfect and told myself I didn’t need it - however since having it I love the M display and it really adds to the experience.
DCT - with the box in its fastest setting the car really does feel like bit of an animal when giving it the beans through the lower gears.
HK - is half decent and IMO necessary on the convertible.

The car you are looking at seems decent value. Many cars down at this price are normally late 2014/15 cars. With that mileage I’d only consider buying main dealer to get the warranty, remember this can be extended relatively easily too.

Here’s mine after a rinse at the weekend:

Your hud doesn’t have the M view mode though I assume? It’s very different if you haven’t seen it.

Fair enough, depends what you are used to I suppose. I drive around in Sport most of the time and find it fine for daily use (and I live in a rural area).

I am used to a lot of different cars from a Caterham R500 to a Mk1 Mini smile

I've just got older and although I have always wanted a M3 could never afford one. Now I can my desires have obviously changed smile
