M4 - 'GTS' DCT transmission software upgrade worthwhile ?

A number of vendors offer a GTS transmission software flash as an upgrade for the standard F8X M3 and M4 models.
I find the DCT 'box in my M4 Competition to be clunky and indecisive puttering around town but quick and direct in attack mode.
Does the GTS software offer any improvement to low-speed drivability or smoothness? As a side note the older DCT in the F10 M5 is miles smoother than the M4, yet it is older technology and needs to cope with more power and torque. This is a head scratcher!
