So having just purchased an M2 LCI or to me face lift im wondering if there are any differences to the original car other than ascetics?
I'm a BMW Newbie so the visual changes hadn't struck me when looking for a car and it was more by chance i stumbled on an LCI version.
Is the handling tweaked ? Or the engine maybe?
Subtle suspension changes ?
Any change to gearing maybe?
Its all a learning curve for me and a rather steep one presently !
tks

The original car is certainly more for the ascetic owner.
However, if aesthetics are your thing, the F83 pimp mobile is available new and used.
Interior cosmetics aside, it uses the same bits, but the software is updated (it is possible to get your car updated too mind), leading to improved steering feel amongst other effects.

Very sorry for not coming back to the above replies.
Collected the car last friday all the way up in Scotland and had the huge drive South of London.
The car is fantastic and i'm really pleased i went manual. The last (original) owner has cherished the car and on collection had under 9k miles on her.
Just been serviced too and at the point of build had various carbon bits added to the car.
The drive, especially with the turbo, is very different to the Gt 911's i'm used to but im loving it.
Had it pretty much exclusively in Sport Plus since collecting it with the nice warm weather and whilst im just getting used to how it handles but so far i'm very impressed.
I managed to find the ideal seating position but putting the seat right down and adjusting the steering wheel to the top so i now feel nicely planted inside.
Infotainment is great with HK and the rest of the controls are detailed and easy to use plus the operating knob is nicely to hand.
The previous owner had never used the rear seats so the interior is immaculate along with the bodywork.
I still cant think of anything that at the price point that compares so it was without question IMO the right choice.
Not interested in track days anymore and tbh im not sure the car is idea for that anyway but its great for road hooning and trips.
The upgrades over the last model to me are subtle but worth me going for.
In short im very happy with my latest purchase and i'm comfortable with the outlay for a car that is likely to be a weekend summer toy
