Hi I have an m4 convertible 2015 I’ve got some water ingress in the car, i’ve lost all power to I drive, electric seats, Radio, heating, air-conditioning Etc. Somebody told me is the rear electrical module which is positioned in the somebody told me that the rear electric module which is position in the boot I am but I am unable to open. Does anyone have any information on this scenario.
There’s a known problem where water will collect in the side body panels by the rear seats, on the M4 convertible. You should be able to hear the sloshing around. This is due to the drain being blocked. You can collect many litres in the panels due to this. Check for that. Your local dealer should sort this for free.
I think M3Cutters will also tell you about other water ingress to the boot. I’ve not experienced this.

Would be a good place to start. I’d suggest a call to your local BMW dealer service dept tomorrow would be in order. Shouldn’t be too many complaints from them. Good luck, hope it gets sorted quickly. I didn’t have any electrical problems but they fixed it quickly, within a few days.
