There's a similar thread on the M3 CS...but I have for a while had my eye on the M4 CS (to replace my 440, lovely car by the way). There are several 2018 cars with mega low mileage for around £50k. I suspect there are deals to be done in the high-40s. List on these cars was around £95k. I've seen on a separate thread that BMW quoted when new a balloon payment on finance of £36k after 48 months.

So we've got a theoretical £14k depreciation between value now and value in 3 years. That's not so bad for what is I'm sure a cracking car. Or are my calculations a little too simplistic?

Maybe there are some owners on here who can share their experiences/love for the car?

Anyone else, you're welcome to correct me on my man maths! I've got it wrong before with some of my cars.

Thank you.

I'm not sure you'd get down to 40s for a CS at the moment but you could try.

Get over to M3cutters and have a look around there - loads of CS owners and other people with an eye on prices, plus BMW dealer insiders, too.

A quick look at a £52k example shows a balloon of £28k so not quite as cheap as you were thinking in terms of depreciation.

Add used car apr, it’ll still work out at £700 a month approx... ?

I used a couple of examples that are currently on sale and using magnitude finance I got balloons between £34k and £36k (based on 6k miles and 8k miles pa).
