F80 M3 30 Jahre

I am looking to get an F80 M3 and was wondering what the differences are between the 30 Jahre and the 2018 Competition? Is the 30 Jahre worth the premium?
Jahres are all LCI I, whereas M3's from 67 plate onwards are all LCI II I believe. I would suspect the market thinks they are overpriced because they just aren't selling! However, only you can decide if it's worth paying the premium which you won't get back if you had to sell/trade back in. All the ones currently on sale have dropped their prices from anywhere from £6k up to £13k.Tap in the registration of the Jahre you are interested in, on the online DVLA road tax check and it will help indicate how long the car has been on the dealers forecourt.
The one at Rybrook BMW has been on sale since last April/May iirc (initially at Lloyds for 3 months before being passed onto Rybrook), BMW Aberdeen have had theirs since last October and the one at GC Motors has been on sale since last June. One at BMW Swindon however, is on SORN.
Thank you guys - so it seems that there is actually no difference except for some carbon bits (that can be added). You seem to be able to partially justify the premium because these carbon bits are super expensive, but if you don't mind having plastic, then it seems the 2018 comp spec is a better platform.
I think i would get the CS if it wasn't for the stupid missing centre console. I guess that is why they have the normal one :-)

Yep, CS is a bit special imo and BMW put much more effort into it then the M3 Jahre which is just a heavily kitted out LCI I M3 CP. I think i would get the CS if it wasn't for the stupid missing centre console. I guess that is why they have the normal one :-)
Here is a 67 plate LCI 2 M3 CP, massive spec and with the full carbon pack if its of interest:
