Okay okay, the M4 didn't give his absolute full beans, but it was a memorable "fight" anyhow! smile

A lap I did in July 2019.
We need summer memories in times like these don't we...

Thanks for posting that OP. thumbup

I bought my MC in December, but haven't put 1,000 miles on it yet. frown

I'm definitely planning on putting that right as soon as non-essential travel is permitted!

Yes OP, thanks for sharing and reminding me of how unlikely my end of May Ring trip is looking now... laugh

Good effort and I admire the full gear on TF. I normally wear my slippers and smoke my pipe.

Nah I just wear just my helmet & gloves that's it. Especially on TF's... (the day after 2 people died while rolling their E36 at Schwedenkreuz.. I usually never drive on fridays/weekends because of these things, only week days.)

Thank you, yeah lets hope we can still go there while there's some summer left.
I just need to put my KWV3 kit on. The std shocks didn't cut it as can be heard in the tire squeels in this clip smile

I could, however there's about 1200km travel from Sweden so I'd rather use roadtires smile
Also, because of this, just heading there & back is just not defendable economy so I include Nurburg in the summer vacay, which also means quiet tires.

Having said that, I was stoked to learn how well SuperSports held up on the Ring! Okay it's not a proper demanding track on either tires or brakes, but anyway, tarmac was 50deg celcius the last two days and I expected them to completely melt away but they did not. Good st!

Yes sure SS are fine there as there are a lot of cooling opportunities. The AD08r is a road tyre with track capability rather than an all out track tyre. Tread depth is 8mm, at least when it's new. I guess you have a winter set anyway.

Thanx, well the winters up here destroy cars so this one’s off the road nov-may usually. But the SS’s are on the CSL’s so I intend to put maybe Toyo R888 on the OEM 18” rims. Once the bank allows..
Cheers
