BMW ///M Driving Experience with my e46 M3 @ ESTORIL - Pics

Hello friends,

On the 29th I went to the BMW Driving Experience at Estoril, which was great fun! One thing I liked was that they weren't bothered by my drifting on track. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Out of this day, I got very good pictures and I also recorded the POV of my 4 sessions on track. I also ended up driving my friends M4, which proved to being much more of handful than my M3, but quite good fun.

It was a heck of day!

Deep down I was thinking of selling the car, mostly because my OCD was going through the roof with knocks and bangs coming from the rear end, stupid D2 brakes and brake pad compatibility, headlining pealing etc. Taking the thing on track sorted it out immediately. It’s such a balanced car!!!

Looking forward to my first experience with coilovers, especially being Ohlins. Had the damn coils on order for over two months, but looks like they are out of stock on some bloody part.

I did and my first thought was that they’d be thrashed, but they aren’t. These Pilot 4S have a lot o thread on them.
Usually I have a second set just to play, but I didn’t imagine they would allow me such freedom

What do you mean, doesn’t ///M stand for “Mainly sideways”?!

It was a very enjoyable day. I was a bit sad that I was the only e46 on track, but it made it easy to find my car among all the pictures though
