Just about to start looking at getting an f10 m5, wondering if any of you larger people can let me know if it's a squeeze or not inside.
I'm 6ft 8 and big with it,previous impreza was so uncomfortable for me.

Also are the m multi function seats better suited to us porky buggers or just the standard seats?

Regards

Is it just your height, or do you need some width for the ears?

Maybe an X5M is the better choice?

Guess you're just going to have to blag a 'fitting' at a local dealer. Doesn't need to be an M5 of course, just the same series.

I don't know, these 'ears' could be susceptible to side impacts...

Dumbo doesn't need an M5 as flying would be quicker!

I'm pretty sure you could go and sit in any F10-series BMW - doesn't need to be an M5. They're everywhere

Yes, the multi-function seats are very different but not sure they materially change the 'size' they'll cope with.

I'm 6 foot and have loads of space in my M5. Seats has loads more it could go back and there's tonnes of headroom. But still.. go jump in any old 5 series would be my advice.

I'm 6ft 4 and fit very comfortably even in an M2! There's even a decent amount of space left to extend the chair further, I suspect you'll have no problems in an F10 M5...

Yeah seat goes miles up and down and wheel goes loads in and out. I'd be astonished if it didn't fit you. After all, BMW build the 5 series to be a mass market mid-size saloon, therefore I bet it fits 99% of people.

But it's probably the 1% of big buggers Big Shrek falls into by the sounds of it smile

I have an F10 and there is definitely a lot of room and seat / steering wheel adjustments.

Look for one without sunroof, it makes headroom very plentiful

I'm a big lad (6ft4 and heavier than most) and had an F10 M5 for a few years, never had an issues with comfort, i had the normal seats not the bigger wider multifunctional ones, but never caused me any discomfort on a 4k mile in a week euro trip

Good luck in your hunt, its a fantastic car! I miss it dearly!
