Funnily enough I just enquired via BMW Park Lane - they have no info and are waiting for formal publications from Germany. Not taking any lists.

I paid £500 deposit last week for the upcoming
M3 touring. The sales guy told me I’d have it in summer 2022. I’ll have to call him and double check

I can't wait to see these, think they will be formidable.

Just can't understand why they didn't do one as far back as the E36!

Not the greatest design and rumours that the pcp Apr is going from 3.9% to 6.9%. It could get very expensive at 85-90k, nearly a 100k car.
I will probably cancel my order if this is true, as it’s not worth it. Coming from someone who has had a deposit down for two years and a serial BMW owner.

Thats almost used car APR. Crazy. Do we recon the next generation of M3/RS4/C63 will be in the six figure range?

Yeah of course, its only the UK that is bringing out all these demands for electric cars. middle east and USA will still want ICE cars long after 2030 or whatever date it is.

If the EU and UK won’t get them I can’t see BMW m division investing greatly in cars for limited markets. The M50 is the writing on the wall

I disagree, the UK and EU markets require opf filters and certain sound limiters but the rest of the world don’t. By your logic all cars produced for all markets should have OPFs fitted but they don’t.

That’s a ridiculous comparison there is more to designing a complete model range than what exhaust you fit .

They’ll sell very well I’d imagine. Rs4 estates hardly rare!

I think the fact that BMW didn’t have the touring at launch shows they don’t think it will be a great seller , they often say the US doesn’t buy wagons and this is usually true without that market it’s going to be rare beast I reckon

Not really, lots of manufacturers already have location specific models, i am not even sure all of the EU have committed to only ev car sales from a certain date.

Well they have from 2035 so there might be another m3 but it will likely be a hybrid at least. But there is a world of difference to having a regional specification and a regional model range, but it’s going to be kinda irrelevant if the new M3 is not available in rhd or in European markets
