I have been watching the values and reviews of these carefully over the past year. Sensible price for RWD 450bhp coupe with some level of practicality. When its easy to pay £50k+ for a Golf R, an M2 is a cracking buy in my opinion. Also still has the manual option too.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310142... track pack manual and just run in really.

I'll be hard pressed not to add one to the driveway.

I've been looking at M2's recently but this gen the looks are something I really dislike. The previous gen still look good to me though.

A similar Golf r is around £40k. More than £10k cheaper than that M2. I'd get the M2 if it was XDrive though.

According to AT price tracker, that one has been on the Autotrader since October 2023, started at just over £71k!

A cheeky offer under £50k and they may snap your arm off.

I think they look great and it'll age well too.

Unlike most of BMW output.

I drove one recently, absolutely brilliant car, felt 'special' to drive. Loved it. But in the end I went for an M3 Touring as it suited my needs better. Rear doors, X Drive and big boot for everyday use

I have done 6k miles in mine now and I am really pleased with mine, its a fantastic all rounder.

Paid £59k brand new with discount and 4.9% with the plus pack.

Just lowered it on eibachs and fitted some spacers recently which helped the appearance. I may go for the Tom Wrigley Stage 2 package in the spring and go for nearly 700bhp...

This advert has some of the worst car photography I've ever seen

Why are the photos all so close up?

This is my wife's M2 bought new in March this year, managed to get just over 10% discount and at 4.9%.

It's covered just 3,300 miles and is a cracking car.

It has been lowered using Eibach Pro Kit springs which lowers the car roughly 25mm and I've also added the full compliment of Zunsport grilles to protect all the rads etc. at the front end.

For the price they are a great car and the looks definitely grow on you. Kind of reminds me of a grown up version of my old E30 M3 Sport Evolution.

How are the Zunsport grilles to fit if you don’t mind me asking? Any need to screw into bodywork?

The Zunsport grilles for the front of the car are all push fit and there are no screws needed at all. The Zunsport grill that protects the rad under the front of the M2 uses existing locating screws. The grilles do look rather good and fill what are IMHO rather large gaping holes

Thanks Andy - these might be a sensible investment as that radiator is pretty exposed as you say 👍

One of the first things that I fitted, I only did the central grill on mine however.

These are a relative bargain to be honest but I just can’t get over the looks compared to my F87. Also they are less practical with less rear passenger room even though the car is bigger?

They have "presence" on the road for sure but imho hard to love those brutish looks.

Am biased obviously but I love how it looks. Could be the fact mines in black. And had the previous version as well which I’d deem as ‘cute’ in comparison :-) but as we say beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Great car though, and less skittish and easier to drive for a meek driver like meself.

Relatively good pricing for me when sat alongside the M3/M4 pricing.

Ps. Excuse to add a pic :-)
