Going back to an E93 M3......possibly

Having just sold my 2019 M2 Comp, I am chewing over what to put in the garage for occasional, fun drives. I owned an E93 between 2015 and 2019 when it died having had it's sump destroyed by a lump of Cornish granite. The marque is well known to have potential issues with rod bearings and throttle actuators. However, today, I have been made aware that another potential problem (I never experienced) is the warping of the sunroof necessitating a new roof. Does anyone here have any experience of this?
