which oil? and where is the vanos filter &bolts?

as above really, which oil for an e36 m3 evo. according to the records it used to have shell helix in it.
and has anyone got any pictures of where the vanos filter and bolts go? because i would like to change these at the same time.

The vanos filter is the middle hex bolt on the front of the vanos unit, correct size tool is in your toolkit

Castrol edge 10w 60 this is the new oil for BMW Has for VANOS FILTER buy the filter first then you will see which hex bolt it is on the vanos unit

TWS 10 / 60 Castrol only for me.

The cars were designed and tested to work using this oil so why change to a different oil.

just got some silkolene pro s 5w 40,but had to order the vanos filter as sytners don't keep it in stock!
