Does anyone know of any BMW's having electrical fires and what the outcome was?

My car has caught fire 18 times in the 4 months I've owned it. Terrible stuff really.

Mine catches fire thousands of times every minute. Somebody should tell BMW that it is dangerous to set off electrical sparks near petrol.

I tried to find an M3 with that option. but it seems none were sold in the RHD.

interesting as despite their reputation few BMWs seem to have this option. Yet me two ton of Landrover Disco has it in bucket loads!!!
