Try www.moneysupermarket.com - I normally get competitive quotes from there.

Try Liverpool Victoria (LV)Just reinsured my E46 M3 convertible for £434 fully comp and protected bonus. I know I am a lot older than you but worth a try.

Try A-Plan, I was paying £600 a year for my wifes 320d sport touring and swapped it for another SMG M3 and we are paying £520 for that.

Give Norwich Union a try. I couldn't get a better deal for either the previous 996 C4S or the current M3 Cab at £525.

A Plan all the way, I did all the comparison sites first and they were cheaper after a bit of haggling.

I'd have thought you're looking at the best part of a grand really mate.

Mine should be £960 from A Plan.

For me swift were half the price of everyone else - including A-Plan. When I phoned a-plan back to tell them this, they said they wouldn't be able to get anywhere near them. Need a tracker though and it's all online.....

at 24 years old with 6years ncb, no accidents, no points, i've just been quoted £1334 with elephant. And i live in leeds, which isn't a goood thing.

So, at your age it should be much cheaper.

cheers

Best I could do about 6 months ago on an E46 M3 was £1400, am 35 full NCB but I do live in Manchester...........if you get it for under a grand you'll be doing well.

I'm 28, 8 years no claims, £470.00 (fully protected NC) for 1 year with Swift Cover through Moneysupermarket.

This is on a 03' E46 M3.

Went down £103 when I added my misses! (she has 1 year no claims!)

It is cheap but if I ever made a claim I could imagine it being a bit difficult as they are online based, but its over £700 less than anywhere else i tried.

I used to pay £600 for a Boxster S!

Admiral was amazing for me. Im 23 and have had one accident 3 years ago which went 50/50, i am driving a 52 plate M3 and pay £960 fully comp.

I have 3 years no claims, added the mother and thats why it dropped below the 1k mark, it was £1600 without her.
