Money spent on it Vs current value

This may or may not be familiar with most on here, Id value my car (98 Evo)at about £5K, but ive totted up what ive spent on it over the last 4 years and its close to £6K on repairs alone, and its still knackered!

So it would be interesting to see if im not alone with a poll.

LOL, I intend to keep my car through high oil prices or not and will spend on it what it needs. If one item out weighs the beneficial financial costs then I will take it somewhere quiet and burn it out

My 3.0 E36 was cheap as chips to run in fairness. Fully maintained with genuine bits by a nice friendly and reliably indy.

My 1998 E36 323 has just had a service costing £1000 and I reckon its only worth £1500, plus the steering rack will need sorting soon as well as the discs.

But as I have had it from only a few months old, I could not bear to get rid of it so if it costs me a grand a year on top of insurance and tax, it will be worth it.
